I don't know that I qualify as a very "typical" woman as per your description. In our household, Peter is the one that seems to know "exactly" the right gift for everyone on our list. *lol* He also cooks waaaaay better than I do.
But, despite those, I like to shop for him, too. I also like to watch for the little things that catch his eye and then surprise him with them. Just ask him how he likes his drill.... *lol*
Anyway, to reach me, an advertiser would have to get an ad in front of him first. Then, when he made that "little comment" about the item, I'd file it away and remember it.
But.... if you want to reach an audience where a lot of working women interact, check out ClubMom.com. I don't know the rates for their ezines, but it does reach a lot of working women.
