Greetings,
I understand that fashion, techniques and tastes changes in advertising – from the layouts, colors, etc.
This is not the first time I see someone saying that
"Ugly Ads are what are working right now in Facebook (2025)"

Why do you think is that?
Simply because "ugly ads" looks as Advertorial style – and that means not so good looking and crafted as an typical AD?
Simply the natural evolution of advertising itself... For some reason I don't get it?
Anyone has already notice this trend/pattern in the past?
I know that already comics were used (and still be using, for sure).
But "ugly"?
My take is what people call "ugly", I call it "super-familiarity".
Probably because:
• As never in history, people see more ADS each day;
• Natural saturation, people are sick of beautiful polished ADS;
• People are resisting everything that seems AI;
...so everything that looks "raw" and "real" is welcomed.
Your opinions?
