Hi,

Anyone heard any rumors about rich people installing bomb shelters or building underground bunkers (of course Bill Gates did this, didn't he?). Anyone with ties to the rich or celebrity scenes?

I know quite a few "celebrities" in Mpls., St. Paul and California but I don't think they ar too concerned about building bomb shelters but I can ask some of them.

Everybody Wants to...Control Somebody...Well, Now You Can...

Here's an underground home to look at
 

In Texas, off of I-45 between Houston and Dallas, there is a small rural town called Buffalo. Some folks built a home underground there, using dome technology from http://www.monolithicdome.com

The direct link to the "Invisible Dome Home", underground, with 3000 square feet of living space is below. They say that people have even parked on top of it - didn't have a clue it was underneath. Interesting the way they made the windowless buried home look cheerful inside with the wall murals. Even out of the ground, these dome homes are hurricane and tornado proof and easy and inexpensive to maintain. They caught my attention. Might want one myself someday.

Not sure what you are after here, but I have seen two bunkers installed. One guy built one for the year 2000 when everything was going to shut down. The other guy was a nut with a lot of money, I don't remember his reason for building one, it's an expensive wine cellar now. If you need more details let me know.
