Many of the free and low-priced conversion programs (I bought Win2PDF and am happy with it) lack security options and the ability to embed fonts. In order to prepare PDF files to be sold on Amazon.com, I could not use Win2PDF, which worked for all other purposes, and instead used the 5 free conversions available at the Adobe Acrobat Web site, which includes all options of the full-featured Acrobat program.
