![]() In the March 19 issue of The Entrepreneur's Hotsheet (subscribe here: http://www.sowpub.com/entrhotsheet.shtml ) we linked to an article about two fledgling fashion designers who basically knew nothing about business and who now have a debt-free business they make a "modest" living from, some 18 months later.
The interesting thing about them can be seen in what they do: design and sell one-of-a-kind clothing AND the work of at least 40 other designers of clothing, handbags, jewelry and other accessories, all on consignment. The full article can be seen here: http://portland.bizjournals.com/portland/stories/2002/03/18/smallb1.html This is an excellent example of one of the ways you can use Leverage. Michael Ross. ![]() Hi Michael,
Here's another interesting quote which I like from that article.... "We didn't know what we were doing," said Towers. "But we learn a little bit more every month," said Stalder, who last year took on the responsibility of doing Seaplane's taxes, though she wasn't sure she knew how. This is the way that often things work.... Sometimes you just have to JUMP in and DO IT, and figure it out as you go along! Just keep an eye on your costs, so any mistakes you make are not too expensive.... :) - Dien Rice The Entrepreneur's Hotsheet - click here to find out more.... |
