Default I found this great resource for TEMPORARILY saving notes...

What can it do?

You can think of it as a kind of "scribble sheet"...

A place you can scribble down notes - TEMPORARILY

The thing is, you can save it, with an EXPIRY TIME! (The default expiry time is 3 weeks.)

After that time expires, the note disappears...

Why would you want to do this?

I find writing down notes is often useful before I write something...

However, I already write down a lot of notes... I don't want my "scribble notes" being mixed up with my "permanent notes"...

So, I've started using nopaste.net for those temporary notes I don't feel I need to keep...

The thing is, when you save a note on nopaste, you'll get a link to your note...

YOU HAVE TO SAVE THAT LINK

(Every time you save after you add more text, you get a new link... I have a special file in Google Docs where I copy and paste the link so I won't lose it...)

Now, some will think this whole thing is crazy... Though some others may "get it" the way I do, and think along similar lines...

If you think it will help, try using nopaste.net ...

It's also free...

Best wishes!

Dien

P.S. If you change your mind and decide you want to keep your note permanently, you can always copy and paste your note to either a text file, to Google Docs, email it to yourself, etc.

P.P.S. Right now I mainly use nopaste.net as a kind of thinking tool, where I organize my thoughts which may start out in a messy way, before giving everything more structure...
