![]() Hi James,
I agree with you - the story GH told about key pressures is ridiculous. What's more likely is that his "hacker" friend simply looked at the full headers of the email that he received. It's easy to fake the "from" line on an email (spammers do it all the time), but full headers usually give the game away as to the email's true origin. Knowing this, he could have compared the full headers of one email with another, and noticed a match. That would tell you that both came from the same source - even if the "from" addresses are different. That's my guess as to how he *probably* determined the email's true source. - Dien Rice |

![]() I suspect you are right Dien. But of course you have to have the "special software" and as you well know only Halbert, the Pope, George W., Indiana Jones and Bill Gates have a copy.
(Gates has 3) Actually, rumor has it that there was an 8th copy and that is the REAL reason we went into Iraq but I'm not gonna be the one to spread rumors. "If I told you what I can do with a computer (and I told you the 100% truth) you would be afraid of me for the rest of your life. You would always be in fear I might turn my expertise against you" -- Gary "Your Worst F***ing Nightmare" Halbert. Damn -- Now we gotta worry that Gary might use his powers for evil. Could this be the coming of... DARK HALBERT??!!???? > Hi James, > I agree with you - the story GH told about > key pressures is ridiculous. > What's more likely is that his > "hacker" friend simply looked at > the full headers of the email that he > received. ![]() Hi James,
Halbert is a great story teller and definitely makes things up to create even greater interest. Don't hold me to the dates, but 15 years ago or so when there was a terrible earthquake in Los Angeles, Gary tells of some incredibly valuable materials on how to profit from the internet (or something like that) that were almost lost forever. Anyway, Gary rushed back to Los Angeles, sifted through the devastation, and recovered these irreplacable materials. Of course, now the $10,000 seminar could be held in two weeks and not be cancelled and never again rescheduled. You gotta love this guy ... really! Robert Campbell |
