You drive into an affluent group of houses. Look for gutters full of leaves. Maybe a few weeds growing. Go to the door and offer to CLEAN OUT their Rain Gutters for FREE. (This gives you (A) Gutter repair work (B) A good Peek at their roof, chimney, Aluminum siding and windows. All of the Above need work 80% of the time. Especially if they are too busy to clean their gutters.) -------------------------------------------- So. On to the one-legged woman Beggar story. I spotted this gal - on the median strip btwn two traffic lights. Four lane traffic. Crutches and one leg. Short Skirt. White Blouse. No sign. It was late. So I pulled into a Gas Station and watched. Sure enough she shut down operations for the day. Very quickly Crutched her way across the 4 lanes. Into a gas station. And around back. TaDa! She was driving a Brand New Black Mercedes. Sounds like something out of a Sherlock Holmes novel. Where a man disappears from his job. Holmes finds him on the street - with a FAKE SCAR. Making Double What he made in his former job. I sincerely enjoyed that story and was even gonna tell my buddy at the gym who is on crutches about it. He said he wanted to sell his farms and be a bum on the side of the highway. I have shared the same method with several of the panhandlers around here...some of them are pretty aggressive...and they tell me to F&*( off...they are doing fine the way they do it...oh well... have a good one and injoy the moments...like Cramer says...they is always a bull market somewhere..! ps..my dad said ..it is 5 o'clock somewhere when he was ready to drink ..lol |

Your Pen Selling Road System is Valuable to me. It Reminded me to Test For What Ted Nicholas calls "The Hidden Benefit." Drivers didn't want pens. They didn't care about you or your pens. BUT. Everybody likes to Support kids who sell Lemonade by the road. AND Grown Men Actually SELLING Pens by the road instead of BEGGING is DIFFERENT. People Want to FEEL GOOD About themselves and Give to Someone who DESERVES their help. Your Actions TOLD DRIVERS You Take Responsibility and Help Yourself. You Clearly demonstrated by your RoadSide Pen Sales... PATRIOTISM and the American way. You Made Drivers EMOTIONAL and they Tossed Munny out of their car windows at you.
