I've never handed out flyers in a private establishment (like a restaurant). However, I do believe there is nothing to stop you from handing out flyers in a public place, at least in most places. (Of course, laws can differ from one place to another.) I've tried selling things for a job I once did (in this case, I was selling discounted comedy tickets) on the street, with no legal problems (though, in my case, also without much success!). We just approached random people on the street... I think there are probably two schools of thought on this type of thing. One school of thought says - just do it, until someone tells you to stop! The other school of thought is, ask permission first... If you're planning to do it on a regular basis (and not just once only), then it's probably a good idea to cultivate good relations with the management... ![]() Some eateries I've been to are happy to put your flyers or brochures near the counter for interested people to pick up... Best wishes, Dien |
